We maintian a Multiple Species Organic Farm
NMT farm is little over 5 acres of land with protected in the name of ancient farming culture with 1400 trees around. Over 600 plus Mangos are the cultivated with high density concept with 20 big size mango trees in one Hectare along with 300 other fruit plants like Guava, Banana, Jack fruit, Moringa, Lemon, Narthai, tamarind, and Amla.
Another Hector area is used to cultivating the seasonal or cyclic Agriculture and Horticulture plants, Mainly are groundnut, Vegetables, Millets and most varieties of greens.
The fenced areas are covered by forest trees like Banyan, Simarouba (Paradise tree), Teak, Neem, Rosewood, Bead, Bhir, Pipal, mahogany, Prickly Padauk (Vengai), Pungai, Ashoka, Palm, and kalakai…
Three Seasons and Multiple Varieties of Mango
We are blessed with 3 sessional in a year for Mango three seasons like neer bogam (March- July), kar bogam (May-August), Kadai bogam (August-December). Neer Bogam Mangoes are used for fruits and the rest of the mangoes are used for Pickles and juices.
We use honeybees from our own farm for the pollinations of the Mangos and other fruits for better yields.
Mango varieties are
Apple Rumani, Green Rumani, Kalapadu, Neelam, Imam pasand, Alponsa, Banganapalli, Kesar, Bengalura, Malgova, Arka Puneet, Arka Udhya.
Banana Varieties are
Elarasi, Monnthan, Karpuravali, Rasthali, Peyan
A Farm From a Place With Rich History
NMT farm is located miles away from the east coast of Tamilnadu in a village name called Poigainallur(North) and blessed by Mother Nature with a lot of Ayurvedic medicinal plants around the area. North Poigainallur is located 4 KM towards South from District head quarters Nagapattinam and 310 KM from State capital Chennai.
This place is known for its goodness and famous holy places like Paalmozhi Amman Temple and korakkar siddhar jeeva samadhi around 0.5km, The Basilica of Our Lady of Good Health Velankanni, Soundararaja Perumal Temple which is counted as one among the 108 Divya Desams dedicated to Vishnu are around 4 Km.
Proper Organic Caring Means High Quality Produce
We have our own packing house for packing the our mangoes, Vegetables and palmyra sprout with good quality to our customers.
Other products that have been produced from our farm are Honey and also Palmayra sprout, nectar, and Fruits on the seasonal.
We produce our own panchakavya, Meeno Amilam, jeevamrutham, Amirtha karaisal, Vermicast, Poochi Verati and sell it to the framers as well.
